How to measure for a protective cover
A cover performs best when it is close enough to remain secure but has enough clearance for installation and airflow.
1. Identify the shape
Choose the category that most closely matches your chair, sofa, dining set, grill, vehicle or equipment.
2. Measure width, depth and height
Measure at the widest, deepest and tallest points. Include handles, arms, mirrors, shelves and other projections. Measure in inches and keep the item fully assembled.
3. Allow installation clearance
Do not select a cover smaller than the object. A small amount of additional width and depth makes installation easier and reduces stress on seams.
4. Secure the cover
Fasten every buckle and leg strap, then tighten the hem or drawcord evenly. In highly exposed areas, add suitable anchor points and inspect the cover after severe weather.
Important storage guidance
Clean and dry the item before covering. Never operate grills, heaters, generators, engines or other equipment while covered.
